About The Role – Experienced Sales Representative - San Antonio, TX
Develop new accounts and expand Orica’s relationship with existing customers within a specified geographic territory. Work with the relevant Territory manager to provide account management, facilitate ongoing service and help customers solve their problems within the area to achieve Orica’s safety goals and in compliance with Orica’s policies and procedures.

What you will be doing
- Ensure the safety and protection of fellow employees, customers, the public and the environment by:
- Lead by example through personal attitude and living Orica’s Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) principles
- Ensure all legal, regulatory, and corporate safety, compliance and environmental standards are met or exceeded
- Ensure appropriate risk management techniques are applied to all business, including Orica's Take 5s, CARE Audits, and incident reviews
- To deliver the operational services to the volume, service type and quality specified by client expectations by:
- Responsible for expanding key accounts and developing new business in the sales area, with focus on service-oriented business mining, quarries, underground, and overall business in pipeline & seismic
- Prepare sales development plans and budgets; monitor and report result monthly
- Responsible for supporting contract management, including pricing, R&F management, quarterly team meetings, and contract renewal in software system.
- Develop commercial strategy to create maximum value for customer and Orica through implementation of product and service initiatives
- Use industry, technical and operational knowledge to lead identification, development, and implementation of new systems/service offerings to deliver additional customer value
- Work closely with customer to develop accurate customer demand forecasting
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in competitive business environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in complex sales
- Excellent ability to grow the business, key decision maker presentation, bring sales to close and manage the set up of new accounts
- Demonstrated ability to learn and understand the needs of a diverse mining, quarry, and construction customer base, understand Orica’s unique capabilities, and facilitate the sale of appropriate solutions to those customer needs

Compensation Range
- $80,000 - $95,000
- Eligible for annual short-term incentive plan
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
